- It will provide multiple opportunities to the candidates.
- Students don't have to drop a year for the preparation. It'll minimize the dropping chances
- If the candidate is unable to attend the first session, which he/she applied due to COVID-19, the candidate can choose another session, or month to attend the exam.
- Students don't have to appear in all four sessions. However, if a student appears in more than one exam, then the NTA scores & ranking of his/her best attempt will get noticed.

Analyze the pattern and
adapt it with your learning so it won’t puzzle you in the future. Knowing your
pattern correctly will help you to gain a better understanding of what is
important, and what is not. For instance, as we know JEE Main is mostly based
on objective questions, so we have to learn that way where we can amplify our
skill to quickly analyze the correct answer instead of writing or paraphrasing
your textbook.
What's New in JEE Main 2021?
- The number of questions has been increased in JEE MAIN - B.tech & B.Planning
- Only the MCQs will have negative marking if a student marks a wrong question, other questions will not have any negative marking.
- Due to fewer negative responses this year, the exam can fetch a student's rank easily if there is a tie. Same criteria like mathematics, physics, chemistry scores will be followed along with the age criteria. The age criteria have been resolved this year as the older candidate would be given a higher rank if there is a tie between the two.
- Till 2019, the total number of questions on each section was 30 MCQs. Now, from 2020, the total number of questions would be 20MCQs + 5 numerical questions.
